About The Position

JB Poindexter & Co (JBPCO) is a diversified manufacturing company with significant annual revenue and a large team. The company produces a wide range of commercial automotive and industrial vehicles and related products. The Manufacturing Leadership Development Program is designed to cultivate future leaders for JBPCO, supporting organizational growth and offering an accelerated path to senior leadership roles in operations or supply chain. Participants will engage in a two-year rotation program, spending six months in operations or supply chain positions at one of their manufacturing businesses. They will develop an Individual Development Plan for a comprehensive learning experience and have direct access to senior leaders. The program has two hubs located in Elkhart, IN/Sturgis, MI and Reading, PA/Morgantown, PA. Upon completion, candidates will be offered a leadership position at one of JBPCO's U.S. manufacturing locations, requiring flexibility in location both during and after the program.

Requirements

  • 2025-2026 M.B.A. degree from an accredited four-year university with a focus on operations, supply chain, business, or entrepreneurship.
  • A minimum of 3 to 5 years of hands-on supply chain or mechanical engineering experience on the plant floor working directly for a discrete manufacturer (e.g., automotive, machinery, durable goods) is required.
  • Proven manufacturing experience in demonstrating measurable achievements, preferably in management or leadership roles, either before or after completing an advanced degree.
  • Experience in operations, supply chain, or engineering.
  • Roles in leadership positions in school and or at work.
  • Demonstrated ability to build strong and lasting relationships.
  • Willingness to be flexible in terms of location during and after the program is critical.
  • May be required to relocate during the program.

Nice To Haves

  • Preferably with a G.P.A. of 3.5 or higher.
