About The Position
Mid Star Lab Inc. is seeking a reliable, hands-on Manufacturing Lab Technician to work in Tonganoxie, Kansas. The technician will manufacture custom orthotic devices using established processes and specifications, operate tools and manufacturing equipment, and inspect production work for quality. The role also involves following detailed instructions, maintaining production records, reporting errors or equipment issues, assisting with cleaning and basic equipment maintenance and troubleshooting, and keeping the work area clean, organized, and safe. The technician works with the manufacturing team to meet quality and production goals. Previous orthotics experience is not required, and on-the-job training is provided. This is a full-time position with a Monday–Friday daytime schedule. Mid Star Lab Inc. is a custom orthotics manufacturer headquartered in Tonganoxie, Kansas, producing products for healthcare providers and patients across the country.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Strong attention to detail and pride in work.
- Comfort working with tools and equipment.
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and consistently produce accurate work.
- Basic computer and math skills.
- Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented.
- Willingness to learn a specialized manufacturing process.
Nice To Haves
- Manufacturing, fabrication, mechanical, maintenance, or other hands-on experience is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Manufacture custom orthotic devices according to established processes and specifications.
