Manufacturing Inspector - 1st shift
About The Position
This full-time position at Lifecore Biomedical involves performing in-process visual inspections to ensure product quality and maintain efficient inspection department throughput. The role requires evaluating product quality against defined specifications, performing visual inspections of syringes and vials in a cleanroom, documenting work, auditing documentation, understanding manufacturing document flow, and reviewing inspection reports for electronic inventory moves. Lifecore Biomedical, Inc. is a fully integrated contract development and manufacturing organization (CDMO) specializing in the development, fill, and finish of sterile injectable pharmaceutical products, with over 40 years of expertise in hyaluronic acid manufacturing. Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- High attention to detail
- General computer knowledge in a Microsoft Windows operating system environment
- Ability to work effectively using written procedures and test methods
Nice To Haves
- Visual Inspection experience with medical device or equivalent regulated industry a strong plus!
Responsibilities
- Evaluate product quality in a timely manner, according to defined specifications and test methods
- Perform visual inspections of syringes and vials in a cleanroom environment
- Document work and carefully audit documentation before final presentation
- Learn and demonstrate a basic understanding of the flow of manufacturing documents
- Review inspection reports and make necessary electronic inventory moves
