Manufacturing/Industrial Engineer
About The Position
We are seeking a motivated and self-driven Manufacturing/Industrial Engineer with 4 to 5 years of experience. The role requires expertise in weld tooling design and validation, manufacturing processes, and CAD tools. The engineer will be responsible for developing manufacturing process flows, implementing lean principles, designing material handling equipment, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives. This is an onsite position in Appleton, Wisconsin, requiring excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with both onsite and offshore teams.
Requirements
- 4 to 5 years of experience
- US Citizen or Green Card holder
- ITAR compliant
- Weld Tooling experience along with Manufacturing Knowledge
- ECN process, Routing hands on experience
- ERP systems hands on experience like Enovia
- CAD Tools- CATIA, SolidWorks
- Onsite-Offshore co-ordination
- Excellent communication skills
- Self motivated and self driven
- Agile and dynamic, collaborative
- MUST SKILL - Weld Tooling Design and Validation
- MUST SKILL - Experience with Design process flow weld tooling/templates and its parts/components
- MUST SKILL - 3D CAD Skills - Solidworks, Creo, CATIA

Responsibilities
- Weld Tooling Design and Validation

- Assembly process planning
- Material handling equipment design
- Creating & updating standard operating procedures, CN and DOU the process
- Develop manufacturing process flow and with reduce cost
- Lean implementation
- Racking system design for material movement or stocking
- Validation of Racks and cart based on the load capacity
- Designing of cart and special purpose material handling devices
- Designing of Templates and special purpose tools for productivity improvements
- Quality checking gauges
- Material flow and standardization process support
- Daily follow up with projects and interaction with customer
- Vendor engagement for project requirements
- Supporting to continuous improvement process
- Co-ordination with onsite Manager, Offshore Team for Status review meetings
