About The Position

The Manufacturing/Industrial Engineer will provide complete manufacturing/industrial engineering support. This includes the design and implementation of weld and assembly tooling, assembly process planning, and material handling equipment design. The role involves creating and updating standard operating procedures, developing manufacturing process flow to reduce costs, and implementing lean manufacturing principles. Responsibilities also include designing racking systems for material stack-up, validating racks and carts based on load capacity, and designing carts and special purpose material handling devices. Additionally, the engineer will design templates and special purpose tools for productivity improvements, create quality checking gauges, and support material flow and standardization processes. The position requires daily follow-up with projects, interaction with customers, vendor engagement for project requirements, and supporting continuous improvement processes. This includes 5S line support for implementation and coordination with onsite managers and offshore teams for status review meetings.

Requirements

  • Experience with handling weld tooling/templates and its parts/components
  • 3D CAD Skills - Solidworks, Creo, CATIA
  • Complete Manufacturing / Industrial engineering support
  • 3 to 5 years of experience
  • US Citizens OR GCs are required
