Manufacturing - Grind Utility / Finishing - Entry Level
About The Position
EJ has an immediate opening for 3rd Shift Finishing - Grind Utility (7:30pm - 5:30am) starting at $23.30 and potential up to $26.91 per hour within the first year. Shift premium is $1.50 for 2nd or 3rd shift positions. EJ is the leader in the design, manufacture, and distribution of access solutions for water, sewer, drainage, telecommunications, and utility networks. Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Frequently required to stand; stoop; walk; use hands to grasp, push, pull, lift or feel in a repetitive motion; reach with hands and arms; and talk and hear.
- Must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception.
- Requires the ability to successfully pass the respirator testing protocol and wear a respirator as needed.
Responsibilities
- Run equipment to include an air grinder, overhead air hoist, chipping hammer and a fork-lift.
- Must have the ability to use hand tools to include hammer, punch, and screw driver.
- Provides suggestion for improvement of all our systems.
- Must meet physical demands as stated below.
