About The Position
This is a full-time, on-site, second shift (3:00 PM - 11:00 PM) manufacturing position located in Bradford, PA. The operator will be responsible for the function, quality, and safety of their assigned tasks. This role involves performing manual manufacturing activities to fabricate, assemble, process, and prepare items/products. The operator will also be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe work environment and following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and quality criteria.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalency required.
Responsibilities
- Ensure function, quality, and job safety for required tasks.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Perform manual manufacturing activities to fabricate, assemble, process, and prepare items/products.
- Operate manufacturing equipment such as soft straightener, leveler, welder, riveter, flasher, crinking machine, annealer, and bone jigger.
- Check components, sub-assemblies, and products for defects.
- Inspect and sort product.
- Load and unload parts from a conveyor belt.
- Place drops of oil on knives and place knives onto a tray.
- Assemble parts according to engineering specifications to produce components.
- Clean product and pack in the correct box.
- Record daily production and quality information.
- Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and related quality criteria.
- Inspect product for defects and complete scrap tickets as needed.
- Receive and deliver materials or product from or to other departments/areas.
- Perform other assigned duties.
