About The Position

This is a full-time, on-site, first shift (6:00 am - 2:00 pm) manufacturing position located in Bradford, PA. The operator is responsible for the function, quality, and safety of their assigned tasks. This role involves performing manual manufacturing activities to fabricate, assemble, process, and prepare items/products. The operator will use various manufacturing equipment, inspect products for defects, and maintain a clean and safe work environment. Accurate record-keeping of daily production and quality information is also required.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalency required.
• Ability to maintain clean and safe work environment.
• Ability to inspect and sort product.
• Ability to load and unload parts from a conveyor belt.
• Ability to place drop of oil on knives and place knives onto a tray.
• Ability to follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) and related quality criteria.
• Ability to inspect product for defects and complete scrap tickets as needed.
• Ability to receive and deliver materials or product from or to other departments/areas.

Responsibilities

• Ensure function, quality, and job safety for all required tasks.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Perform manual manufacturing activities including fabrication, assembly, processing, and preparation of items/products.
• Operate manufacturing equipment such as soft straightener, leveler, welder, riveter, flasher, crinking machine, annealer, and bone jigger.
• Check components, sub-assemblies, and products for defects throughout the manufacturing process.
• Inspect and sort product.
• Load and unload parts from a conveyor belt.
• Place drops of oil on knives and place knives onto a tray.
• Assemble parts according to engineering specifications to produce components.
• Clean product and pack in the correct box.
• Record daily production and quality information.
• Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) and quality criteria for all equipment and processes.
• Inspect product for defects and complete scrap tickets as needed.
• Receive and deliver materials or product to/from other departments/areas.
• Perform other assigned duties as directed by the supervisor.
