About The Position

A multidisciplinary role involving close coordination with product development (Design For Manufacturing), process planning, field coordination and documentation. The role spends substantial time on the factory floor, translating product design into a repeatable manufacturing process, resolving ramp-up issues, and providing feedback to Product and Process Planning. Participate in design review meetings and provide manufacturing feedback and recommendations. Support factory-floor implementation of new products and processes, including prototype builds, process validation, work instructions, tooling/fixture development, workstation setup, material flow, production trials, and manufacturing issue resolution. Capture step-by-step assembly processes; record quality issues and rework drivers; evaluate safety and ergonomics. Support development, implementation, and continuous improvement of manufacturing processes with production personnel, contractors, designers, and engineers. Read and interpret engineering drawings, architectural drawings, 3D models, BOMs, and manufacturer instructions/specifications. Observe, document, and analyze build processes, including time and motion, lessons learned, and DFM improvement opportunities. Follow up daily on open points with product development, procurement, supervisors, local trades, suppliers, and remote office teams.
