About The Position

A multidisciplinary role involving close coordination with product development (Design For Manufacturing), process planning, field coordination and documentation. The role spends substantial time on the factory floor, translating product design into a repeatable manufacturing process, resolving ramp-up issues, and providing feedback to Product and Process Planning.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechatronic Engineering, Construction Engineering, or a related field.
  • 2–5 years of experience in manufacturing engineering, construction, modular construction, industrialization, or a related field.
  • Proficient understanding of manufacturing processes and assembly methods.
  • Experience in residential construction, including multiple construction techniques and building methods.
  • Experience working directly on a production floor or construction site.
  • Knowledge of 2D drawings (AutoCAD, Revit) and 3D CAD (Catia, Revit, Inventor).
  • Experience with tooling, fixtures, lifting equipment, and material-handling systems.
  • English (C1-C2)
  • Flexibility to work overtime and short-term travel

Responsibilities

  • Participate in design review meetings and provide manufacturing feedback and recommendations.
  • Support factory-floor implementation of new products and processes, including prototype builds, process validation, work instructions, tooling/fixture development, workstation setup, material flow, production trials, and manufacturing issue resolution.
  • Capture step-by-step assembly processes; record quality issues and rework drivers; evaluate safety and ergonomics.
  • Support development, implementation, and continuous improvement of manufacturing processes with production personnel, contractors, designers, and engineers.
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings, architectural drawings, 3D models, BOMs, and manufacturer instructions/specifications.
  • Observe, document, and analyze build processes, including time and motion, lessons learned, and DFM improvement opportunities.
  • Follow up daily on open points with product development, procurement, supervisors, local trades, suppliers, and remote office teams.
  • Communicate with engineers and skilled trades/production personnel to ensure materials, means, and methods align with process and product design intent.
