About The Position

The Manufacturing Excellence Specialist will be responsible for driving operational excellence. Continuous improvement efforts will focus on making sustainable gains in reliability, quality, safety, cost, and delivery. Methods for achieving and sustaining improvements will be based on Nestlé Continuous Excellence (NCE), TPM, and LEAN fundamentals. The team member will need to collaborate closely with division, factory, and other internal partners to achieve the Manufacturing Excellence objectives aligned with the business needs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required (Engineering or Business preferred)
  • Ability to build trust and interact with all levels of the organization
  • Proficiency in O365, Power BI, and Power Apps development
  • Strong project management and change management skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Creative, reliable, organized, adaptable, flexible, innovative, and a self-starter
  • Focus on adding value in a fast, performance-driven business
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership abilities

Nice To Haves

  • 2+ years of experience in food manufacturing, preferred

Responsibilities

  • Create and maintain line and labor standards for new/current SKUs based on loss analysis, studies, and historical data
  • Deploy and leverage digital tools to enhance real-time decision making and analysis of losses
  • Determine optimum machine speed, production cycles, and line crewing required for master scheduling, as well as short-term planning and control
  • Perform bottleneck studies and other industrial performance studies to improve throughput and productivity
  • Develop and publish dashboards, scorecards, and operational review platforms using Power BI, SharePoint, and Teams
  • Build and deploy digital solutions such as Power Apps, Flow, and paperless workflows
  • Identify and implement ways to minimize waste (material losses, machine losses) using NCE and TPM methodologies
  • Develop project teams on key skills to drive continuous improvement
