About The Position
The Manufacturing Excellence Specialist trains, coaches, and assesses factory teams across functions on Continuous Improvement and Six Sigma activities. The role analyzes factory data to identify opportunities to improve performance and processes, and performs industrial performance and engineering responsibilities. The position supports manufacturing excellence activities across the factory and works with factory leadership to drive world-class manufacturing.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Operations, or a related technical/STEM discipline; or a high school diploma or GED equivalent.
- If qualifying through a high school diploma or GED, at least 3 years of operational experience in a manufacturing, industrial, technical, military, or related environment.
Responsibilities
- Gather data and analyze reports, including stoppage analysis and other production line data.
- Manage industrial performance activities in the factory, including Nestlé Manufacturing performance metrics.
- Provide support and leadership for continuous improvement projects, including delegated supervision of employees assigned to those projects.
- Support Nestlé Continuous Excellence pillars to drive world-class manufacturing.
- Work with leadership across the factory to support manufacturing excellence activities.
- Train, coach, and assess cross-functional teams in Continuous Improvement and Six Sigma activities.
- Analyze data to identify opportunities to improve factory performance and processes.
