About The Position
The Manufacturing Excellence (Continuous Improvement) Manager coordinates Nestlé Continuous Excellence (World Class Manufacturing) initiatives and Pillar activities, serving as the single point of contact for stakeholders. The role develops improvement plans and strategies to drive profitability through analysis of costs and losses, and ensures processes enable top-line growth and improve manufacturing asset intensity by reducing manufacturing losses. The position is based at a technologically advanced pet food manufacturing facility in Rockingham County, Virginia, producing dry dog and cat food.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree.
- At least 3 years of leadership experience with LEAN Manufacturing, Total Performance Management (TPM), or Continuous Improvement in a manufacturing, technical, military, or related environment.
- At least 1 year of people leadership experience.
Responsibilities
- Define and communicate continuous improvement plans across the facility.
- Monitor and coordinate the execution of Nestlé Continuous Excellence plans.
- Manage the Manufacturing Excellence Department organization, including allocation of roles and responsibilities.
- Implement Nestlé Continuous Excellence methodology across teams and processes, including training, coaching, and assessment.
- Support development of Manufacturing Excellence methodologies, competencies, and routines with the market.
- Develop improvement plans and strategies using analysis of costs and losses to drive profitability.
