About The Position

We have 2 Manufacturing Engineer opportunities with a growing Defense & Aerospace client located in Northern Virginia. Both positions are onsite and offer relocation assistance for qualified candidates. Manufacturing Engineer (Electro Mechanical Focus) This position is focused on supporting New Product Introduction (NPI) efforts and serving as the bridge between engineering design and manufacturing. The engineer will work closely with R&D, Supply Chain, Quality, and suppliers to ensure products transition successfully from development into production. Manufacturing Engineer (Electrical Focus) This role is geared toward engineers with strong electrical manufacturing experience supporting electronic and electro mechanical products throughout the product lifecycle. The position focuses heavily on PCBA manufacturing, electrical testing, and production support.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering required
  • Manufacturing engineering experience (aerospace/defense)
  • Experience supporting electro mechanical products and assemblies
  • Strong understanding of NPI and Design for Manufacturing principles
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings, GD&T, BOMs, and PCBA schematics
  • Experience with manufacturing processes such as CNC machining, injection molding, sheet metal, composites, and 3D printing
  • Experience working with suppliers and contract manufacturers
  • Familiarity with ERP, PLM, and CAD systems
  • Experience with electronics, PCBAs, and electro mechanical systems
  • Strong understanding of NPI, Design for Manufacturing, and Design for Test principles
  • Ability to interpret electrical schematics, PCB layouts, wiring diagrams, and BOMs
  • Experience developing electrical test processes, fixtures, and test equipment
  • Familiarity with oscilloscopes, multimeters, power supplies, and related lab equipment
  • Experience working with contract manufacturers and PCBA suppliers
  • Familiarity with ERP and PLM systems
