About The Position

This role involves programming, operation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of assigned assembly equipment. The technician will ensure proper setup and operation, provide immediate support to maintain the production schedule, and contribute to manufacturing process improvements. The position also includes providing technical leadership and training to other employees, performing tasks like component replacement, repairing electrical equipment and circuits, light machining, and assisting engineers. The role requires applying technical knowledge to complete tasks effectively and may involve leading and directing the work of others.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent and 7 years’ experience operating, programming, troubleshooting, and maintenance of assigned equipment.
• Applicants must be U.S. citizens, U.S. nationals, lawful permanent residents, or individuals lawfully admitted to the U.S. as asylees or refugees due to U.S. export control regulations (ITAR/EAR).

Responsibilities

• Provide programming, operation, troubleshooting and maintenance of assigned assembly equipment
• Ensure proper setup and operation of assigned assembly equipment
• Provide immediate equipment and process support as required to ensure production schedule is maintained
• Support manufacturing process improvements
• Provide technical leadership and training to other employees
• Perform tasks such as replacing components; repairing electrical equipment; circuits, electrical panels, & mechanical components; light machining; assembly of mechanical & electrical components; and assisting engineers as required
• Apply technical knowledge to effectively complete assigned tasks
• May lead and direct the work of others
