About The Position

The Manufacturing Engineering Technician supports Manufacturing Engineers by performing technical tasks related to design, testing, assembly, DOE and maintenance of equipment/systems. This role involves hands-on work with process optimization, mechanical, electrical, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.

Requirements

  • Associate degree in Engineering Technology (Manufacturing, Mechanical or Electrical) or equivalent US Military experience/training required.
  • 5-10 years of experience in manufacturing engineering or equivalent experience
  • Strong understanding of mechanical drawings, electrical, or electronic systems.
  • Proficiency with tools, instruments, and diagnostic equipment.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Experience analyzing production assembly and test equipment and processes and documenting modifications.

Nice To Haves

  • Six Sigma Yellow Belt preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Assist Engineers in the design, development, and testing of Watson Marlow products.
  • Perform assembly, calibration, and maintenance of equipment.
  • Conduct inspections and quality checks to ensure compliance with specifications.
  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical or electrical issues.
  • Collect and analyze data from tests and prepare detailed reports.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of work performed and results.
  • Ensure adherence to safety protocols and company standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support project goals.
  • Other duties as assigned.
