About The Position

Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) Mobility, Surveillance & Bombers (MS&B) is seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Manager to lead the Wiring Team within our Production Engineering organization in Tukwila, WA. This role is responsible for driving manufacturing process improvements, supporting production activities, and ensuring the efficient fabrication, assembly, installation, and testing of wiring harnesses, electrical assemblies, and related components. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership experience, a deep understanding of wiring and electrical manufacturing processes, and a proven ability to improve quality, reduce cost, and support on-time delivery in a fast-paced aerospace or high-precision manufacturing environment.

Requirements

Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement.
At least one year of experience in a leadership role (team leader, temp manager, large scale cross functional project/program management, or formal manager experience) OR have completed the Boeing internal course “Exploring Leadership.”
Must meet U.S. export control compliance requirements. To meet U.S. export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.62 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim U.S. Secret Clearance Pre-Start and final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.

Nice To Haves

Manufacturing engineering experience, preferably in wiring, electrical assembly, or aerospace manufacturing.
Experienced leading a manufacturing engineering wiring statement of work (SOW).
