About The Position

This position provides an opportunity to transition from other private, public, government or military experience to a 3M career. As a Manufacturing Engineering Manager, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by managing and leading an engineering organization focused on improving safety, quality, service and productivity improvements. You will also drive EHS culture improvements through daily and weekly engagement with all operations on the site, provide direct supervision and coaching daily for direct reports and adjacent manufacturing functions, develop and execute a continuous improvement plan that aligns with the manufacturing plant and business strategic objectives to drive assets OEE, and be responsible for aligning with business supply chain partners to support new product introductions and key business objectives. Additionally, you will develop and execute an automation roadmap that supports the manufacturing plant objectives and utilize and coach your team to use systematic methodologies, such as root cause analysis, to identify and implement solutions to complex manufacturing problems.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start)
Ten (10) years in engineering and/or manufacturing operations experience in a private, public, government, or military environment
Five (5) years of supervisory and/or managerial experience
Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).

Responsibilities
