About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineering Manager to lead a team supporting our Data Center Solutions product category, focused on liquid cooling distribution systems. This role leads manufacturing engineering for a defined product area, with responsibility for scaling production, supporting new product introduction (NPI), and driving improvements in safety, quality, delivery, and cost within a primarily manual assembly environment with opportunities to expand automation. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who can translate business priorities into clear direction while developing a high-performing team. This position will work 5 days/week onsite in Anoka, MN.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s (B.S.) degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related engineering field.
  • At least 7 years of related engineering experience, with a minimum of 3 years in an engineering leadership role preferred.
  • Proven ability to lead teams across multiple functions to deliver sophisticated engineering projects from concept through production.
  • Experience with automation and equipment integration, including a working understanding of control systems (e.g., PLC controls) and how systems interact across a manufacturing line.
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes (e.g., welding, forming, molding) and product/process development methodologies (e.g., FMEA, Lean).
  • Demonstrated leadership, communication, and project management skills with the ability to influence across functions and drive alignment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop a team of engineers and technicians, establishing priorities, developing talent, and building technical capability across the team.
  • Guide and support the team in the execution of manufacturing engineering projects, setting priorities and ensuring work is aligned to production goals including throughput, yield, and delivery.
  • Own the planning, prioritization, and execution of capital projects and equipment investments, ensuring alignment to business needs and long-term manufacturing strategy.
  • Drive initiatives to advance manufacturing capability through automation, tooling, and production line improvements that improve safety, quality, and efficiency.
  • Partner with NPI and multi-functional teams to industrialize new products, ensuring design for manufacturability (DFM/DFA) and readiness for full-scale production.
  • Lead continuous improvement efforts using data and structured problem-solving tools (e.g., SPC, root cause analysis, Gage R&R, Cpk) to improve process capability and reduce defects.
  • Monitor and drive performance of key manufacturing metrics including yield, throughput, cycle time, delivery, and safety.
  • Promote a strong safety culture and lead efforts to address complex issues, guide decisions, and implement process improvements.
