About The Position

DentalEZ is a growing manufacturer of dental equipment who is hiring in Lancaster, PA! We are looking for outgoing and motivated individuals to join our team! This position provides an opportunity to apply classroom knowledge to real-world production challenges. You will work under the supervision of senior engineers, gaining hands-on experience in production processes, quality control, and process improvement projects.

Requirements

• Actively pursuing an undergraduate degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related technical field.
• Proficiency in computer software, such as Creo Parametric, AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and MS Office (Excel, Word).
• Excellent organization and time management skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work in a plant environment and handle hands-on tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assist in identifying opportunities to improve manufacturing efficiency, reducing waste, and optimizing workflows (Lean Manufacturing, 5S).
• Create, update, and maintain, work instructions, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and technical drawings.
• Collect and analyze production data to support projects related to quality, cost reduction, or manufacturing improvements.
• Participate in identifying root causes for production issues and support equipment maintenance/troubleshooting.
• Assist with tooling design, equipment installation, and testing new processes.
• Inspecting products and analyzing defects.
• Learning and promoting safe equipment operation.
• Assisting with daily floor operations.
