About The Position

Graco manufactures and markets premium equipment to move, measure, control, dispense and spray a wide variety of fluid and powder materials. Requirements

  • Pursing a degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering.
  • Desire to work in a hands-on environment.
  • Good mechanical aptitude.
  • Initiative to learn about manufacturing and related industry requirements.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency with MS Word and MS Excel.
  • Ability to collaborate with Engineering staff and factory floor personnel.
  • Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States. This role is not eligible for immigration sponsorship now or in the future (e.g., H-1B, TN, F-1 OPT).

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working on a mill is helpful, but not required.
  • Working knowledge of AutoCAD preferred.
  • Experience with 3D modeling (Creo, Solidworks) is beneficial.

Responsibilities

  • Perform engineering duties and activities for machining and assembly in a manufacturing environment.
  • Plan and execute requirements of the business unit, as directed by the Cell Manager or Manufacturing Engineer.
  • Troubleshoot issues (quality, efficiency, safety, etc.) for machining or assembly operations.
  • Recommend and implement manufacturing process improvements.
  • Fabricate fixtures on a mill or build benches and equipment.
  • Analyze production standards and operation layouts.
  • Update and document manufacturing facility layout.
