About The Position

This internship focuses on applying technical expertise in product manufacturing. Interns will be involved in selecting, designing, or recommending tools, fixtures, and equipment. They will develop manufacturing processes and procedures to reduce problems and costs, and recommend design changes to increase quality or reduce problems and costs. The role involves solving production problems, improving process capabilities, and participating in the presentation of test results and design reviews. Interns will interact with other functional groups, vendors, or customers, and participate in the administration of technical procedures. They will also initiate and implement routine engineering change authorizations, support capacity models and lean initiatives, and may participate in lean six sigma improvement teams. Interaction with teammates in numerous global locations is also a possibility.

Requirements

  • Pursuing a bachelor’s in engineering
  • Zero (0) years of related experience
  • Ability to work full-time (40 hours) per week in-person
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States

Nice To Haves

  • Pursuing a degree in Industrial, Manufacturing, Mechanical, Chemical or Materials Science Engineering
  • GPA of 3.0 or above
  • Prior internship experience
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
