Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or
Industrial).
10 years of prior applicable experience in manufacturing.
5 years management experience required.
Automotive experience required.

Manage labor, expense, fixed asset budgets within the manufacturing
department.
Manage manufacturing preventative maintenance, cleaning, standard work, &
4S+D condition.
Responsibilities
Set Department Level HOSHIN Kanri Targets to meet/exeed company goals for
Manufacturing Engineering & Maintenance.
Develop, follow, and manager group level policy which supports company policy
& procedures.
Responsible for managing training for Manufacturing Engineering & Maintenance
groups.
Lead / report out department targets, goals which also include; budgeting,
labor, fixed assets, chart updates, schedules, graphs, tours, and future
planning.
Responsible for leading the reduction of unplanned downtime for mass
production and new equipment.
Responsible for leading the continuous improvement for mass production and
new equipment.
Responsible for leading the manufacturing feasibility of design changes and
new designs.
Responsible for implement process design changes based on drawing revisions
along with maintaining the most current drawings for each product
Lead IATF16949 Implementation for the Manufacturing Engineering Group &
Maintenance group.
Responsible for leading quality improvement and cost reduction activities
such as: activities including automation, reutilization, JISHUKEN and other
non value-added work by Process design and Maintenance view point.
New Equipment Installation and Process Preparation including the creation of
the schedule, production preparation confirmation checksheet, PFMEA, project
milestone activities.
Ensure that operation availability and machine cycle times meeting company
targets.
Ensure the on-time delivery of all equipment necessary to support new product
launches.
Responsible for facility planning, procurement, and management.
Experience with equipment maintenance,repair (mechanical and
electrical),preventive maintenance.
Preparation of Management review material (Monthly & Company level:
3times/Year)
Ensure plant and OSHA safety requirements, production utilization goals, and
facilities support is met through proper maintenance planning.
Coordinate with other departments to ensure EPA compliance
Responsible for setting and meeting department budget.
External visits
Perform all duties in conformance to appropriate safety and security
standards
Will perform other reasonably related tasks within the Company as required by
the Supervisor or Management
Supervision, development, and performance management of Manufacturing
Engineering group and
Maintenance group and/or managers, assistant managers, exempt engineers,
hourly technician, GL, TL, Team members and temporary members.
