The Manufacturing Engineer Co-Op will work both individually as well as on cross-functional teams to complete a variety of projects focused on improving safety and quality, reducing cost, and increasing on-time delivery (OTD) in a high precision manufacturing facility. This may include implementing lean operations such as setting up product flow, KANBAN, and FIFO, CAD modeling, automation research and implementation, performing time observations, and data collection and analysis. Immerse yourself in a full-time, Monday-Friday co-op session, that will run January-August (including the Spring semester); it is expected students will take a semester off from coursework to fully engage with this working mentorship opportunity.
