About The Position

The Manufacturing Engineer will design, implement, and optimize efficient, cost-effective, and safe production systems. This role involves leading new equipment deployment, integrating Design for Manufacturability and Assembly (DFMA) principles, designing tooling and fixtures, responding to customer requests, and developing manufacturing processes with cost estimations for new business. Responsibilities may evolve as departmental needs change.

Requirements

• BS in Manufacturing/Mechanical Engineering with 3-5 years of manufacturing maintenance or 5-7 years of related experience
• Experience in 3D Cad solid modeling
• Experience in 2D Cad AutoCAD
• 2-4 years of leadership experience
• Travel required for projects (about 25% travel)

Nice To Haves

• Proficient with programming logic controllers such as Allen Bradley and or Robotics preferred
• Project management experience preferred
• GD&T experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and optimize efficient, cost-effective, and safe production systems
• Lead new equipment deployment from concept to full-scale manufacturing
• Integrate DFMA early to simplify the design to reduce complexity and potential errors in assembly
• Design tooling and fixtures
• Respond to customer requests, and proposals
• Develop manufacturing processes and provide cost estimations for new business
