About The Position

Genesis10 is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer for an Onsite contract opportunity in Kalamazoo, MI. This role is part of a product transfer team, focused on delivering cost-transformative projects. The engineer will collaborate with stakeholders across product transfer, operations, and divisional partners, providing engineering support and ensuring documentation compliance with company procedures.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline
• 2 or more years' experience in a manufacturing environment
• Experience with equipment and process validations
• Experience writing procedures for operating processes
• Proven track record of working in a team-based environment
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams
• Innovative thinker with the ability to envision new and better ways of doing things
• Experience in executing complex problem-solving techniques related to manufacturing/design technical issues

Nice To Haves

• Experience in an FDA regulated or regulated industry

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering support for product transfers ensuring that all activities are completed and documented in accordance with the latest company procedures
• Monitor and control progress of work ensuring sound application of engineering principles
• Create manufacturing documentation such as SOP, DMR, DHR, PFMEA, and Process Control Plans
• Train operators and sustaining engineers on production processes
• Write and execute equipment, cleaning, and process validations
• Ensure quality of process and product as defined in the appropriate operation and material specifications
• Investigate yield issues and implement improvements on the manufacturing line
• Ensure adherence to GMP and safety procedures
