Manufacturing Engineer
About The Position
We are seeking a motivated Junior Manufacturing Engineer to support daily production operations, assist with process improvements, and contribute to quality and efficiency initiatives. This is an opportunity for someone early in their career to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The role supports production teams with troubleshooting, workflow improvements, process documentation, CAD drawings, production layouts, customer quotations, cost estimates, and manufacturing feasibility reviews. The engineer will work with senior engineers on small projects, equipment updates, and layout changes, and contribute to continuous improvement and cross-functional communication. The position offers a starting annual salary of $70,000, benefits, hands-on training and mentorship, and growth opportunities in engineering, quality, or operations. The work environment is described as stable, with consistent hours.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; an associate or bachelor’s degree is a plus.
- Business-level English communication skills.
- Ability to follow instructions, learn quickly, and work in a team environment.
- Basic computer skills and comfort working around machinery.
Nice To Haves
- Chinese (Mandarin) language skills.
- Prior experience in manufacturing, production, or engineering support.
- Familiarity with tools, equipment, or basic technical concepts.
- Interest in developing long-term skills in engineering or operations.
Responsibilities
- Support production teams with troubleshooting, workflow improvements, and basic technical tasks.
- Assist in documenting processes, work instructions, and quality checks.
- Create and update CAD drawings, production layouts, and manufacturing documentation.
- Assist with preparing customer quotations, cost estimates, and manufacturing feasibility reviews.
- Help identify inefficiencies and contribute ideas for continuous improvement.
- Work with senior engineers on small projects, equipment updates, and layout changes.
- Perform basic data entry, reporting, and communication with cross-functional teams.
