Requirements

5+ years of experience in manufacturing (Aerospace preferred)
Engineering degree or 10+ years of hands-on manufacturing experience
High proficiency with computers and digital workflow tools
Familiarity with CAD software; NX and CATIA experience strongly preferred
Proven experience working with complex assemblies and associated test procedures
Comfortable working directly with physical product during builds, tests, and process validation
Experience with PLM or ERP systems
Exposure to ASME/AS9100 industry standards
Must be able to meet ITAR requirements (U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S., protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3), or eligible to obtain the necessary authorizations from the U.S. Department of State).

Responsibilities

Write clear, accurate assembly instructions and develop component-level test plans
Act as the key technical translator between Engineering and Integration, capturing engineering requirements and intent while designing the necessary test plans and tooling for execution
Drive process development by identifying workflow gaps, designing required tooling, and validating the resulting processes
Conduct process planning by assessing capabilities and determining tooling requirements for integration efforts
Collaborate directly with design teams, keeping them informed of manufacturing capabilities and the assembly steps that drive cost
Develop inventive solutions to complex problems and resolve build issues in real time
Lead mixed teams through the stand-up and deployment of new manufacturing processes while developing long-term plans to establish future capabilities
Collaborate with industry experts to identify key technologies and lead initiatives to integrate them into manufacturing workflows
Maintain clear, organized, and up-to-date documentation
