About The Position

Join Trane Technologies as a Manufacturing Engineer in Pueblo, CO. Nice To Haves

  • PFMEA experience preferred.
  • Degree preferred in Engineering or related technical disciplines.
  • Emphasis on computer programming or related experience is beneficial, particularly in C, C++.
  • Experience working in SQL environments.
  • Experience creating and executing API, GUI, etc.

Responsibilities

  • Provide timely resolution of manufacturing process and product design problems, including investigations, statistical studies, and corrective action planning.
  • Create cost-effective and safe manufacturing processes, equipment, and tools to improve manufacturing operations.
  • Design manufacturing flow lines, workstation layouts, and station controls that optimize efficiency, operating costs, and product quality.
  • Uphold manufacturing standards including machine capability, process maps, set-ups, quality controls, tooling and fixture records, routings, and cycle times.
  • Generate work instructions, job breakdowns, and standardized work to ensure quality at the source meets product and manufacturing specifications given local needs.
  • Serve as a voice of the customer for input for new design development.
  • Partner with on-site EHS (Environment, Health, and Safety) to ensure all equipment meets safety regulations compliant with OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration).
  • Lead hands-on factory project implementation, maintain support and upgrade as needed, all Panel, Frame, HiPot and End-of-line electrical testers.
