About The Position

Airbus is seeking an individual responsible for managing/monitoring all non-conformities, design deviations, OSW, and late changes to support production. This role involves responding to technical questions and creating work orders based on non-conformities. The position requires establishing and maintaining effective communication with European Plants, on-site Production teams, Quality, Suppliers, Design Engineers, and Aircraft Managers. Engineers at the Airbus U.S. Manufacturing facility take aircraft from concept to customer delivery, working with production teams on every aspect of assembly from managing technical information, quality control, maintenance tasks, and health & safety.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Aeronautical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Electrical Engineering or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Participation and/or the ability to successfully pass the following Airbus Courses: Airbus Gen Fam (General Familiarization). Airbus SA Familiarization (EL01). Airbus Manufacturing Systems AMS. Airbus Production Rules 80T. Corporate Presentation Skills. Occupational Health and Safety.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as FAL focal point regarding Plant activities and their suppliers through constant coordination and monitoring.
  • Provide technical support to X-Plant production.
  • Establish/verify the technical content of non-conformities and validate in documentation.
  • Steer/challenge all non-conformities, concessions, and OSW within assigned all Plant and Supplier responsibility.
  • Organize/facilitate regular meetings with suppliers/partners (Folio reviews, drumbeat, multi-function team (MFT), etc.).
  • Ensure non-compliance management according to Airbus and Authority rules.
  • Participate as an active team member learning and following dedicated training plans from current team members, including providing orientation support to new colleagues and trainees.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Additional projects as assigned.
