  • Troubleshoot and Solve Complex Problems: Serve as a technical resource for daily manufacturing support and issue resolution.
  • Investigate and resolve process, equipment, tooling, fixture, documentation, and assembly-related challenges.
  • Partner with Production, Quality, Engineering, and Purchasing teams to identify root causes and implement sustainable corrective actions.
  • Support defect reduction, process stability improvements, and manufacturing reliability initiatives.
  • Train and support production personnel on new equipment, processes, and work instructions.
  • Improve Manufacturing Systems, Tooling, and Documentation: Develop, maintain, and enhance manufacturing documentation, including work instructions, procedures, and process standards.
  • Design, validate, and implement tooling, fixtures, manufacturing aids, test equipment, and automation solutions.
  • Interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications, and product documentation to support efficient production execution.
  • Support New Product Introduction (NPI): Participate in prototyping, pilot builds, production ramp-ups, and new product launches.
  • Collaborate with Engineering to ensure products are designed for manufacturability, testability, reliability, and efficient assembly.
  • Identify manufacturing risks, tooling requirements, process constraints, and documentation gaps early in product development.
  • Develop production methods, work instructions, fixtures, and test processes for new and revised products.
  • Support engineering changes and process improvements throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Lead Continuous Improvement Initiatives: Drive projects focused on cycle time reduction, yield improvement, throughput gains, scrap reduction, labor efficiency, and cost savings.
  • Utilize Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Kaizen, 5S, FMEA, SPC, root cause analysis, and Industry 5.0 technologies such as automation and AI.
  • Analyze manufacturing data to identify trends and implement data-driven improvements.
  • Standardize best practices and promote a culture of operational excellence and accountability.
  • Support Quality and Compliance: Help maintain ISO 9001-aligned manufacturing practices, documentation, and continuous improvement efforts.
  • Collaborate with Quality on corrective actions, nonconformance investigations, inspections, and process improvements.
  • Work with suppliers and Purchasing to address manufacturability, tooling, materials, and component-related challenges.
  • Ensure compliance with company quality, safety, and operational standards.

Benefits
