About The Position

Manufacturing Engineering role that supports manufacturing operations with a focus on process control, quality systems, and continuous improvement. This role combines hands-on shop-floor engagement, including running manufacturing equipment and performing operator responsibilities, with engineering analysis and digital process development, ensuring safe, compliant, and efficient production. The engineer works cross-functionally to improve processes, resolve issues, and support scalable manufacturing solutions. This position is not offering any type of visa transfer or sponsorship now or in the future.

Requirements

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Manufacturing, Biomedical, Industrial, or related field)
  • Familiarity with CAD software (SolidWorks preferred)
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and procedures
  • Willingness to work in a hands-on, shop-floor environment

Nice To Haves

  • Internship, co-op, or technician experience in a manufacturing or regulated environment
  • Exposure to Quality Management Systems (QMS), particularly in medical device, pharmaceutical, or similar industries
  • Experience with data analysis tools (Excel, Minitab, etc.)
  • Exposure to MES or digital manufacturing tools (e.g., Tulip or similar platforms)
  • Experience with basic mechanical design or fixture development using SolidWorks

Responsibilities

  • Support daily manufacturing operations by ensuring processes are executed in accordance with approved procedures and work instructions
  • Support process validation, equipment qualification, and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Develop, test, and maintain digital process tools to support manufacturing execution and data collection
  • Analyse manufacturing and quality data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and improvement opportunities
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Quality, Operations, Engineering) to resolve production and quality issues
  • Support equipment operation, troubleshooting, and process optimization efforts
  • Utilize CAD tools (e.g., SolidWorks) to support basic fixture design, process improvements, and documentation updates
