About The Position

Are you excited at the opportunity to electrify and decarbonize the world? What impact you'll make The Manufacturing Engineer (ME) is accountable for the quality of their own work. The ME is subject to direct operations supervision/prescribed work instructions/systems checking and executes within a well-defined operations framework. There is generally a step by step sequence of standard operational tasks which need to be followed to achieve an end result.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an accredited university (or a high school diploma/GED with at least 4 years of manufacturing or operations experience).
• Must be authorized to work in the USA without sponsorship now or in the future.
• Must be able to work 100% onsite in Bangor, Maine.

Responsibilities

• Define and control production process including tooling and equipment.
• Validate design specifications and shop floor application of new product, tools, or equipment.
• Develop and maintain manufacturing methods to support the safety, delivery, delivery, cost (SQDC) priorities.
• Develop in-depth knowledge of a technical discipline.
• Understand key business drivers; uses this understanding to accomplish own work.
• In-depth understanding of how work of own team integrates with other teams and contributes to the area.
• Uses some level of judgment and has ability to propose different solutions outside of set parameters but with guidance.
• Uses prior experience and on-the-job training to solve straightforward tasks.
• Has access to technical skills and analytic thinking required to solve problems.
• May use multiple internal sources outside of own team to arrive at decisions.
• Regular participation in monthly Lean Kaizen events to support the Lean Roadmap.
• Support New Product Introduction.
• Support CNC processes.
