This is a 2nd Shift role which includes an 8% shift premium. We are looking for a Senior Manufacturing Engineer to join our Microelectronics Factory team. In this role, you’ll focus on making our production processes smarter and faster. You’ll be responsible for driving quality improvements and shortening cycle times by streamlining workflows and removing technical bottlenecks. By using data-driven tools like SPC and leading process improvement projects, you’ll ensure our microelectronics production is both efficient and reliable, helping us deliver high-quality solutions to the mission more effectively.

Requirements

  • Typically requires a Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Math (STEM) and a minimum 5 years of prior relevant experience.
  • 3+ years of implementing and managing Statistical Process Control (SPC) tools (e.g., Minitab, JPM) to drive yield improvements and reduce defects.
  • 3+ years experience in CAD for designing tooling, fixtures and 3D fixturing.
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in a factory or shop floor setting, specifically working with complex hardware such as microelectronics, circuit cards (CCAs), or aerospace systems.
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a US security clearance prior to the start date.
  • U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Nice To Haves

  • Extensive experience in manufacturing engineering, specifically within microelectronics production.
  • Proficiency in Statistical Process Control (SPC) implementation and performing detailed process data analysis.
  • Experience with the manufacturing processes and transition to production of new products and processes to support volume manufacturing
  • Experience supporting and programming Wire and Ribbon bonding equipment.
  • Active DoD Clearance (Secret)
