About The Position

Responsible for tool design, automatization projects, and production optimization. This role involves CAD design and cost estimation for tooling and machines in close cooperation with the engineering and production team. The ideal candidate will have the ability to resolve complex technical machine and tool challenges quickly, identify cost-saving potentials in the production and tooling process, and support their execution. This position also requires supporting the engineering team to validate part requirements and ensure tooling and machines meet spring specifications. The role includes spring production process development and optimization, active participation in the quality complaint process with a focus on identifying and executing corrective actions, and supporting international subsidiaries with potential on-site travel.

Requirements

Strong understanding of mechanics, materials science, and spring manufacturing processes.
Independence, dedication, willingness to collaborate, and ability to work in a team.
Bachelor’s degree: Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or comparable field.
Basic Computer proficiency (MS Office, Outlook, Teams, Co-Pilot).
Strong knowledge in CAD tools like SolidWorks, AutoCAD, SAP.
Knowledge in PLC programming, robotic applications (Siemens preferred).
Experience in bending technology or other metal forming processes.
Problem solving skills, root cause analysis.
Strong analytical and mathematical abilities for testing and data analysis.
