Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
Strong technical base in 3D CAD and engineering design and analysis fundamentals
Mechanical aptitude and hands-on experience in fabrication, machining, or assembly
Experience with manufacturing process improvement and fixture/tool design

Responsibilities

Collaborate across departments, sharing work early and seeking input to solve production challenges and drive practical improvements
Manage and prioritize multiple improvement projects, using targeted studies to reduce setup/cycle times, variation, and improve material flow
Apply engineering analysis, creativity, and hands-on skills to refine and automate processes, tools, and fixtures for greater efficiency
Develop and implement quality checks, support root cause analysis, and standardize safe, efficient use of equipment and processes
