About The Position

The Manufacturing Engineer will provide technical expertise to aspects of production, cost, quality, and compliance to safety for the assembly of fuel injectors. This role involves cross-functional work with quality, manufacturing engineering, and operations. The engineer will work with 13 other Manufacturing engineers and test engineers on the team, reporting up through the tech service manager. The position is for the 2nd shift, which runs from 3pm to 11pm.

Requirements

  • Min of 5 years of experience
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Ability to facilitate and create all APQP elements including Process Flow, Control Plan and Process Failure Modes and Effect Analysis (PFMEA)
  • Excell

  • Assembly and Test experience
  • Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshooting assembly equipment if needed
  • Assisting in process improvements for current assembly process
  • Understanding and walking back issues that occur due to first test pass failures
  • Creating and updating all APQP elements
  • Providing technical expertise to aspects of production, cost, quality, and compliance to safety for the assembly of fuel injectors
  • Cross functional work with quality, manufacturing engineering, and operations
