About The Position

CompX National is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to join their team. This role involves programming CNC machines, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement. Requirements

5+ years of experience programming CNC vertical machining centers (3, 4, and 5 axis)
Proven experience programming multi-axis CNC lathes and Swiss-style lathes
Strong knowledge of G-code/M-code and CAM software (e.g., Mastercam, Fusion, 360, Esprit, or similar)
Solid understanding of speeds, feeds, tooling selection, and workholding for a variety of materials
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, GD&T, and engineering specifications
Strong troubleshooting skills and a continuous improvement mindset
Experience conducting first article inspections and using precision measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, CMM, etc.)
Experience programming and integrating 6 axis robots for machine systems or tending
Strong tool selection knowledge and ability to work with tooling vendors
