This role is for a Manufacturing Engineer in Noblesville, where the individual will operate innovative engineered systems and develop, coordinate, and implement sustainable manufacturing production processes. Requirements

PFMEA experience preferred.
Degree preferred in Engineering or related technical disciplines.

Responsibilities

Provide timely resolution of manufacturing process and product design problems, including investigations, statistical studies, and corrective action planning.
Create cost-effective and safe manufacturing processes, equipment, and tools to improve manufacturing operations.
Design manufacturing flow lines, workstation layouts, and station controls that optimize efficiency, operating costs, and product quality.
Uphold manufacturing standards including machine capability, process maps, set-ups, quality controls, tooling and fixture records, routings, and cycle times.
Generate work instructions, job breakdowns, and standardized work to ensure quality at the source meets product and manufacturing specifications given local needs.
Serve as a voice of the customer for input for new design development.
Partner with on-site EHS (Environment, Health, and Safety) to ensure all equipment meets safety regulations compliant with OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration).
Develop, implement, and continuously improve manufacturing processes across fabrication and assembly operations.
Design and optimize production line layouts, material flow, and facility utilization to improve throughput and efficiency
Lead lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives (TPM, VSM, Kaizen) to reduce waste and improve performance
Support new product introduction (NPI) including process development, validation, and transition to full-scale production
Own capital equipment lifecycle: specification, procurement, installation, and validation (IQ/OQ/PQ)
