About The Position

Manufacturing Engineer needed on-site in Kenosha, WI to support high performance doors. This role is with 4Front Engineered Solutions, a leader in the door and docking industry, supporting High Performance Doors under the brand names Dynaco, Albany, and TKO. Requirements

Bachelors’ degree in Industrial, Manufacturing, Mechanical or Systems Engineering, or equivalent technical/engineering field.
3-5+ years of related experience, preferable in engineering.
1-3+ years of engineering experience in manufacturing or assembly processes preferred.
Experience designing, operating, troubleshooting, maintaining complex production machinery.
Significant "hands on the product" experience with ability to recognize problems, predict potential outcomes and implement countermeasures quickly to avoid problems.
Knowledge and use of CAD software (SolidWorks is desirable).

Nice To Haves

Masters Degree a plus.

Responsibilities

Manages, plans, directs, coordinates optimal, cost-effective manufacturing processes.
Ensures processes and operations function efficiently, safely and effectively.
Troubleshoots operations, revises drawing and process sheets, verifies conformance, trains operators.
Evaluation of existing processes to improve process flow.
Researching automation techniques, testing new systems and planning layouts for optimization.
Coordinates launch for new, revised products, processes and equipment.
Follows Continuous Improvement and Lean manufacturing principles.
