About The Position

As part of our Powertrain Manufacturing Engineering (PTME) team, you’ll help build the world-class powertrains we're known for. In our plants around the world, we’re constantly developing new technologies, processes, and testing methods to further increase our quality and efficiency. In this role, the candidate will function as both an engineer and project manager, working cross-functionally within manufacturing and across the enterprise to deliver new engine programs and ensure that the quality of powertrains are industry-leading. Leveraging data analytics and machine learning tools, engine manufacturing test engineers consider assembly processes, cost efficiencies, and quality standards to deliver these fresh new customer products. This role offers high visibility with Ford manufacturing leadership and cross-functional senior executives, requiring deep collaboration across the entire manufacturing value chain to ensure the best possible return on investment (ROI). The engine manufacturing test engineer position is based in the Powertrain Manufacturing Engineering (PTME) office in Dearborn, Michigan.
