About The Position

4Front Engineered Solutions, a leader in the door and docking industry, is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to support High Performance Doors (Dynaco, Albany, and TKO brands) at their on-site facility in Kenosha, WI. This role is crucial for optimizing manufacturing processes, ensuring efficiency and safety, and driving innovation in product and equipment launches.

Requirements

Bachelors’ degree in Industrial, Manufacturing, Mechanical or Systems Engineering, or equivalent technical/engineering field.
3-5+ years of related experience, preferable in engineering.
1-3+ years of engineering experience in manufacturing or assembly processes preferred.
Experience designing, operating, troubleshooting, and maintaining complex production machinery.
Significant "hands on the product" experience with ability to recognize problems, predict potential outcomes and implement countermeasures quickly to avoid problems.
Knowledge and use of CAD software (SolidWorks is desirable).

Nice To Haves

Masters Degree a plus.
SolidWorks experience is desirable.

Responsibilities

Manages, plans, directs, and coordinates optimal, cost-effective manufacturing processes.
Ensures processes and operations function efficiently, safely, and effectively.
Troubleshoots operations, revises drawing and process sheets, verifies conformance, and trains operators.
Evaluates existing processes to improve process flow.
Researches automation techniques, tests new systems, and plans layouts for optimization.
Coordinates the launch of new and revised products, processes, and equipment.
Follows Continuous Improvement and Lean manufacturing principles.
