About The Position

Support new RFQs, CAD drawings, router creation, and project management as a priority. Secondary tasks will be to support production and help to drive key strategic initiatives for the business across multiple groups (Engineering/Production/Quality). Currently, the Engineering role is multi-faceted involving sales activities, project management, quality support, and CI for process improvement. In order to accelerate growth in the long term, the Engineering Group will need to continue to bring in new talent that learns from the seasoned team members in effort to drive and execute on new business opportunities. Duties/responsibilities, other duties may be assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Mechanical, or Manufacturing Engineering
• 2+ years of industry or related experience
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Passion for learning and a drive to succeed
• Analytical and quantitative approach to problem solving
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
• Ability to read and interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions, blueprints and quality manuals
• Ability to work well under pressure
• Knowledge of MS Office Software applications
• Excellent communication skills
• Teamwork skills

Nice To Haves

• Aerospace experience is a plus
• 3D CAD experience is a plus
• Strong knowledge of quality tools used in the industry

Responsibilities

• Evaluate manufacturing processes based on quality criteria, such as efficiency and speed
• Study production and machine requirements
• Develop and test effective automated and manual systems
• Organize and manage manufacturing workflows and resources
• Support new RFQs, CAD drawings, router creation, and project management
