Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, , Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • Minimum 3 to 5 years of manufacturing engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience leading process improvement projects.
  • Thorough understanding of manufacturing engineering principles and production systems.
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Ability to independently manage multiple projects and priorities.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis skills.
  • Working knowledge of process validation and statistical analysis techniques.
  • Effective leadership and mentoring abilities.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with manufacturing automation and CAD systems preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and optimize manufacturing processes, equipment, and production methods.
  • Lead manufacturing improvement projects focused on efficiency, quality, capacity, and cost reduction.
  • Analyze production processes and operational data to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Lead root cause investigations for manufacturing and quality issues and implement sustainable corrective actions.
  • Support Design for Manufacturability (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA) reviews for new and existing products.
  • Develop and validate tooling, fixtures, automation solutions, and manufacturing systems.
  • Conduct process capability studies, equipment qualifications, and process validations.
  • Manage engineering change implementation and maintain manufacturing documentation.
  • Participate in capital equipment selection, installation, and startup activities.
  • Collaborate with quality, maintenance, operations, supply chain, and product development teams.
  • Train and mentor production personnel.
  • Lead Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Manage TPM activities, equipment spare parts, and maintenance contractor relationships to maintain reliable and efficient facility operations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
