Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical, or Manufacturing Engineering preferred, equivalent experience may be considered).
1-3 Years of experience in Manufacturing Engineering, Continuous Improvement, or Quality Engineering.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent organizational skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong leadership skills.
Experience in 5S implementation.
Kaizen leadership experience.
Fabrication and Assembly experience.
Value stream mapping experience.
Mechanical Assembly experience.

Responsibilities

Focus on continuous improvement for manufacturing operations by analyzing, developing, and implementing cost-effective manufacturing solutions to support KPIs.
Lead the implementation of 5S.
Conduct kaizen events.
Drive product quality improvements.
Perform root cause analysis.
Lead cost reduction initiatives.
Support plant operations as necessary to ensure KPIs are met.
Develop and implement capital expenditure projects.
Determine manufacturing equipment needs.
Conduct root cause and corrective action for manufacturing non-conformances.
Develop work instructions, standard work, and process flows.
