About The Position

This position will help coordinate and organize production process methods and engineering activities that enable production. This includes sustaining engineering, new product launch processes and continuous improvement activities. The position is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining production processes to drive quality and efficiency and to develop manufacturing plans which improve operations competitiveness.

Requirements

  • Understands and can articulate basic lean principles
  • Can coach Team Leads and other Employees on basic lean principles such as MDI, 5S, Standard work, Waste, etc.
  • Can identify improvement activities and execute to completion
  • Collaborates with stakeholders on various levels to gain buy-in and support for change initiatives.
  • Utilize data-driven approaches to measure performance, identify trends, and make informed decisions.
  • Prepare and present detailed reports on project status, outcomes, and recommendations to senior management.
  • Ability to train others on the creation of line layouts, work instructions, processes, Apriso usage and setup
  • Experience on creation of fixtures and tooling
  • Use of computer systems for document creation, like Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
  • Can create and edit documents on Autocad, CREO and Inventor
  • Ability to teach others on new software for torque tool setup, document visualization, etc
  • Ability to read and understand part prints, CAD models and provide feedback to design engineering, management or peers
  • Ability to implement 5S across multiple workstations
  • Ability to train others on new softwares
  • Basic knowledge of Process flow, PFMEA, Control plan, DFAM, Manufacturing Readiness Tracker
