About The Position

You will be the Manufacturing Engineer Sr Staff - Level 5 for the Co‑Production/Sustainment Manufacturing Engineering team which is responsible for resolving complex manufacturing challenges and driving tooling improvements on the F‑16 program. As the Manufacturing Engineer Sr Staff - Level 5 you will be responsible for leading advanced manufacturing problem‑solving, tooling strategy, and cost‑accountability activities. Your responsibilities will include: Identify new tooling requirements, implement changes to existing tools, and manage tool‑order execution. Generate and coordinate project schedules, resource plans, and Cost Account Management (CAM) reporting for manufacturing initiatives. Resolve data‑quality and reporting issues by working with support functions and implementing corrective actions. Prepare data, reports, and presentations for management and program reviews, tracking action items to closure. Lead continuous‑improvement projects that enhance production schedule adherence and cost performance, and develop Basis of Estimates for upcoming business opportunities.

Requirements

  • Broad background in manufacturing with emphasis in Manufacturing Engineering, Tooling &/or Planning.
  • Experienced in developing schedules, budgets, &/or resource requirements.
  • F-16 experience.
  • Experience as a Control Account Manager &/or Project Management Certified.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.
  • Ability to work remotely
  • Ability to obtain a government security clearance.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledgeable of Manufacturing Planning/Engineering systems (CAPPS, TRF, SFM, EWI, QADS) and related systems and tools (PDM, VAS, SAP).
  • Familiarity with the F-16: MBOM, Engineering, assembly process, and planning structure.
  • Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Project skills.
  • Candidate should be a self-starter with a proven record of working well with multi-discipline engineering team, manufacturing engineering teams, as well as production operations.
  • Should have broad range of experience related to engineering, material management, and manufacturing to ensure success.
  • Cost Account Management (CAM) certification or experience managing cost accounts.
  • Experience in preparation and delivery of technical presentations to internal and/or external customers.
