About The Position

The Senior Principal Manufacturing Engineer will provide advanced technical leadership and high level specialty research and development in accordance with engineering standards and project scope. YOUR IMPACT: These duties are not meant to be all-inclusive and other duties may be assigned. Conduct research necessary to be an advocate for new technologies/products that will enable the business. Be a key influencer in technical decisions regarding new technology and act as a technical advisor to Engineering leaders. Collaborate in establishment of the technical base line and technical engineering vision and help lead the transformation of the organization into modern approaches to development, integration, and test. Interface with customers/suppliers to resolve complex technical issues to provide the business with innovative, industry leading solution. Provide technical mentorship to all levels of the engineering organization. Supplies technical inspiration and leadership consultation to other engineers. Create and maintain project documentation for analysis, research, and historical records. Perform complex engineering analysis to support the selection of parts, components, and materials that meet requirements. Provide technical support for prototype, pilot, and production support.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in operations, engineering, or related field.
  • Ten (10) or more years of relevant experience.
  • Read, write and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos.
  • Read and interpret safety rules, operating/maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
  • Write routine reports, correspondence and speak effectively before both internal and external groups.
  • Read, analyze and interpret business manuals, technical procedures and/or government regulations.
  • Read, analyze and interpret scientific and technical journals, financial reports and legal documents.
  • Prepare and/or present written communications that pertain to controversial and complex topics.
