Manufacturing Engineer Material Handling Intern (Fall 2026)

As an internship company, we allow flexibility to enrol in classes while working as an intern, as long as it doesn’t interfere with the essential functions of the position. This internship will be roughly 16-17 weeks long, from August 24, 2026 to December 18, 2026, but these dates can be flexible depending on candidate availability.
Requirements
- Must currently be enrolled in a Bachelors, Master’s or PhD program who is fulfilling a graduation requirement for their degree.
- Microsoft Office
- AutoCAD
- Minitab / JMP
- Bluebeam
- Ability to wear personal protective equipment is required (including but not limited to; steel toed shoes, cut resistant gloves, jackets, aprons &/or arm guards, safety glasses, hearing protection).
- Ability to wear a respirator is a condition of employment and continued employment (requires little or no facial hair).

Responsibilities
- Support the Manufacturing Engineering team in day to day activities in sustaining the production line.
- Basic trouble shooting of issues, root cause analysis, and implementation and roll out of engineering fixes.
- Support the team in roll out of new equipment upgrade projects.
- Focus on the installation of the material handling system for our new high volume manufacturing facility.
- Present accomplishments and project summary to the leadership team upon completion of the internship.
