Job Summary Job Description The Manager, Manufacturing Engineering is responsible for leading and managing a team of manufacturing engineers, ensuring efficient production, maintaining high quality, and implementing continuous improvement initiatives for a manufacturing facility Key Responsibilities:
Requirements
- Requires practical knowledge in leading and managing the execution of processes, projects and tactics within one job area
- Typically has advanced knowledge and skills within a specific technical or professional discipline with understanding of the impact of work on other areas of the organization
- 5 + years of relevant experience
- Bachelor's Degree in related field
- Manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs
- Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets.
- Proven experience in meeting required Manufacturing Engineering goals
- Strong dedication as a team player.
Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of manufacturing engineers, fostering a collaborative and motivating work environment.
- Identify and implement process improvements to optimize production efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
- Manage and oversee manufacturing engineering projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
- Prepare and implement the departmental budget.
- Ensure that products meet quality standards and customer requirements.
- Ensure adherence to relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Collaborate with other departments (e.g., Engineering, Quality, Production) to achieve production goals.
- Encourage and support innovation in manufacturing processes and technologies.
- Analyze production data to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions.
- Work with vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment.
